Hotel 48Lex Review

Hotel 48Lex Review

I traveled up to NYC over St. Patty's day weekend for 3 nights and stayed at Hotel 48Lex. I found them on Instagram months ago and thought the place looked beautiful. For anyone traveling to NYC it can be stressful trying to find the right hotel, in an area that you want to be near and at a reasonable price. But I am here to tell you - if you are looking to stay toward the Midtown area (I would say this hotel is Midtown East) then look no further. This is not in a super busy area so it was refreshing to not walk out the hotel door and be bombarded by people walking by. As a traveler I am guilty of pulling out Google Maps to make it around and when I'm immediately in a sea of people I can get turned around, so I loved that aspect of this hotel.

Upon arrival the staff was super welcoming and kind. It was around 10 PM and they were like it's your time to relax. Which any traveler can appreciate! They made check-in simple and quick and every time I saw a worker they were smiling and helpful. You appreciate great hospitality when you have experienced the opposite. I absolutely loved the experience staying there. One of my favorite parts was the bathroom! If you have ever travelled to NYC and stayed in a hotel then I am sure you have probably experienced a small bathroom that is hard to move in. This bathroom had a beautiful barn door entrance and so much room to move and shower. LOVED IT! My view was gorgeous and room was super clean & nice. Who doesn't love to travel in style?
